The health benefits of Hibiscus sabdariffa, or common hibiscus flower are many. We would highlight the following:
- Reduce the cholesterol
- Lowers blood pressure
- Packed with antioxidants (like vitamin C)
- Prevents cancer
- Lowers blood sugar
Benefits for menstruation
There are scientific studies that show that the properties of hibiscus infusion reduce menstrual pain caused by intrauterine contractions and regulate the long-term hormonal cycle.
Its high content of antioxidants and being a soft and natural relaxant, helps us to replenish nutrients during bleeding and allows us to synchronize with a slightly more relaxed rhythm of life.
Another use would be topical, due to its antioxidant power, it slows down aging by giving elasticity and luminosity to the skin. One way to apply it would be to reuse an already used facial mask sheet. I leave you the video where I show you the step by step.
